PubOlin is an online network of
publishers and IT specialists, working within a
wide range of disciplines. Our dedication to our clients is 100%. We
can offer live e-mail response and online conferencing, with
communication via: e-mail, FTP, MSN, Skype, phone and SMS.
If you wish to get a book published there
are two routes you can take:

Firstly
you can use the online service that will very shortly be available.
Using this you will be able to upload, spec and pay for your
publication in one easy process. This is ideal for novels as mostly
standard procedures are followed. For other forms of publication
such as photographic books, please use the next route as it will be
better tailored to your project.

knowledgeable staff. Publishing of your book can then be arranged
quickly and conveniently.
In order to publish your book you will first of all need your
publication in a readable digital format such as "MS Word" or "MS Works"
(though most common text/word-processor files should be OK). Also
required is a quick "brief" of the book in about 1 paragraph, plus your
preferred titles (list 2 -3 titles in order of preference as
occasionally some titles can not be used for copyright reasons).
All books are offered a fully designed cover as part of the package. We
have a professional cover designer as part of our team, with 4 years
experience and over 4000 covers to his name! Covers can be approved
before publication, but please note any major changes will have to be
charged for.
All publications go through a final grammar
check and are typeset before print. It is recommended that you proof
read your work before sending to us, as we do not offer this service.
Often reading through by yourself will highlight any errors, though it
is better to get a friend to do this as you can miss obvious mistakes
through familiarity. A proof of your publication can be offered for
around £30-70 depending on number of colour pages.
All publications published by PubOlin are POD (print on demand). This is
a now common printing method, used by all the main publishers. This
allows a book to remain in print forever. This has many advantages, the
most relevant to the author is that copyright remains with original
author and publisher for life. Where as the author often lost copyright
on books out of print.
Currently all our books are printed in New York, though by the very
nature of POD work, we are likely to be also sourcing a printer in
Europe for lower shipping costs.
Most of the steep costs of publication are taken up with the sales of
your book. POD print runs are fairly cheap, so low overheads mean that
once published a book is sold at almost pure profit, with a good
percentage of all sales going to the author for life! Because of this
our publishing costs are very competitive, you try getting your book
self published for £500!!
Oh and did we mention that we even throw in book cover design!!!
